metal halide lighting.  For Example: A 125 watt metal halide over 50,000 hours/5 years of use consumes $1,125 in electricity (@.18 per kWh), and an average of 7 bulb replacements (every 9 months) at $65.00 per bulb =  $455 totalling $1,580  (this is conservative as we did not include the cost of a chiller or chiller operation).  Our LED replacement for the 125 watt metal halide (Prism AC) uses only $477 in electricity with no bulb replacements.   That is a savings of $1,103 with out the hassle of bulb replacement!
